FACILITATING SUCCESS THROUGH EQUAL ACCESS

The mission of the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations is to ensure that qualified students with disabilities are afforded an equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the academic programs, services, and activities offered by 海角大神 through reasonable accommodations and the provision of auxiliary aids and services. We strive to facilitate the removal of existing barriers through individual consultation, strategic partnerships, and consistent outreach across campus.

TESTING ACCOMMODATION CENTER

The Testing Accommodation Center (TAC) housed in Testing and Evaluation Operations accepts faculty requests for students with test accommodations. If a student in your class has talked to you about a testing accommodation and given you a letter from our office, you may want to ask the TAC to proctor exams and provide testing accommodations. Faculty requests can be submitted from the Testing Accommodation Center page. Questions may be directed to the Testing and Evaluation Operations office (McAfee 2000) by phone at (217)-581-1185 or email sdstac@eiu.edu

Note: 海角大神 does not provide personal assistance or equipment as accommodations, i.e. homework assistance, typing, personal laptops, or personal aids, etc. This office does not accommodate for campus architecture/access (we are happy to note concerns and send those concerns to Facilities).

Employees needing accommodaitons should contact Human Resources.

EIU's programs, resources, and facilities are available to all students regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, marital status, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity.
