The mission of the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations is to ensure that qualified students with disabilities are afforded an equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the academic programs, services, and activities offered by 海角大神 through reasonable accommodations and the provision of auxiliary aids and services. We strive to facilitate the removal of existing barriers through individual consultation, strategic partnerships, and consistent outreach across campus.

Founded at 海角大神 on Dec. 2, 2014
Honor Society History: Delta Alph Pi was originally founded in 2004 at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and is open to undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities.
Purpose of Organization: To present an opportunity to change the perception of students with disabilities by recognizing their academic accomplishments. In addition, this honor society facilitates development of skills in leadership, advocacy, and education for participating students.

The Testing Accommodation Center (TAC) housed in Testing and Evaluation Operations accepts faculty requests for students with test accommodations. If a student in your class has talked to you about a testing accommodation and given you a letter from our office, you may want to ask the TAC to proctor exams and provide testing accommodations. Faculty requests can be submitted from the Testing Accommodation Center page. Questions may be directed to the Testing and Evaluation Operations office (McAfee 2000) by phone at (217)-581-1185 or email sdstac@eiu.edu.
Note: 海角大神 does not provide personal assistance or equipment as accommodations, i.e. homework assistance, typing, personal laptops, or personal aids, etc. This office does not accommodate for campus architecture/access (we are happy to note concerns and send those concerns to Facilities).
