CLAS Festivals Art Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in the upcoming festival season. The Holiday and Spring Festivals are sponsored by 海角大神鈥檚 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Doudna Fine Arts Center. The purpose of the festivals is to promote the arts tothose who reside in east central Illinois and throughout the midwest.

1. ELIGIBILITY:
All artists wishing to sell their handcrafted goods can participate in our festivals.

2. LOCATION:
Doudna Fine Arts Center on the campus of 海角大神.

3. FESTIVAL DATES AND TIMES:
鈥� 3.1 Holiday Fest
鈥� Thursday, December 3, 4:00pm - 7:00pm
鈥� Friday, December 4, 10:00am - 7:00pm
鈥� Saturday, December 5, 10:00am - 7:00pm
鈥� Sunday, December 6, 10:00am - 6:00pm
鈥� 3.2 Spring Fest
鈥� Thursday, April 22, 12:00pm - 7:00pm
鈥� Friday, April 23, 10:00am - 7:00pm
鈥� Saturday, April 24, 10:00am - 7:00pm

4. VENDOR TIMELINE:
- 4.1 Holiday Fest
鈥� Application deadline: Monday, November 30, 2026.
鈥� Drop-off/set-up: Thursday, December 3, 2026, 8:00am - 3:00pm.
鈥� Teardown: Begins no sooner than 6:00pm on Sunday, December 6, 2026.
鈥� Consignment pick-up: Tuesday, December 8, 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
鈥� 4.2 Spring Fest
鈥� Application deadline: Monday, April 19, 2027.
鈥� Drop-off/set-up: Thursday, April 22, 2027, 8:00am - 11:30am.
鈥� Teardown: Begins no sooner than 7:00pm on Saturday, April 24, 2027.

5. ARTIST SALE OPTIONS:
鈥� 5.1 Holiday Fest: 100% of the art vendor fee will go towards student scholarships within the School of Art + Design.
鈥� Traditional Booth: These are 10'x10' areas on the Doudna Fine Arts Center's Concourse. Artists purchasing booth locations are required to be present during the open festival hours.
鈥� Consignment: This sale type allows the artist to drop off their work (labeled and priced) for the festival staff to sell. Artists participating in the traditional consignment sales are not required to be present during festival hours and will receive a summary sheet indicating the results of their sales upon picking up their work. Consignment artists will receive a check less 25% for all works sold within approximately four weeks of the sale. Each artist may submit up to 100 works for consignment. If you select this sale type, you will receive more detailed instructions prior to drop-off.
鈥�5.2 Spring Fest: All fees for this festival go towards covering the costs associated with the festival.
鈥� Outdoor Booth: 12'x12' outdoor grass location near the Doudna Fine Arts Center.
鈥� Indoor Booth: 10'x10' indoor concrete location within the Doudna Fine Arts Center.

Booth Options (100% of the fees for this festival are a tax write off)

Booth Options (100% of the fees for this festival are a tax write off) Booth Fee - $200 Booth Consignment - 25% Traditional Consignment - 25% I do not wish to participate in Holiday Fest.

If you select booth consignment you will be required to share a sales report at the end of each day. You will then be asked to provide payment totaling 25% of all sales prior to leaving on the last day of the festival.

Booth Options Outdoor Booth - $75 Indoor Booth - $125 Student Outdoor Booth - $50 Student Indoor Booth - $100 I do not wish to participate in Spring Fest.

Must be a registered student at 海角大神 or high School Student with ID to qualify for the student rate.

GENERAL RELEASE: The undersigned does forever discharge, release and hold harmless the Board of Trustees of 海角大神, its agents, representatives and assigns of and from any and all manner of action, suits, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damage to the person or property of the undersigned while in the possession or under supervision of the CLAS Festivals and hereby consents to the enforcement of all rules of the festival as set out in this announcement and in the letter of instruction to be mailed/emailed to accepted exhibitors.
