The following sample course sequence is designed to develop core competencies in Geographic Information Science and its application to the business, government and non-profit sectors. All degree candidates must successfully complete 32 semester hours, to include 12 semester hours of required core classes, a 3 semester hour statistics requirement, a minimum of 3 semester hours of internship and additional electives as needed to meet the 32 hour degree requirement.
