Recording Procedures

Student Recitals in the Recital Hall:

  • You may record your recital yourself by following the instructions linked below.
  • A USB/SD card recording system is connected directly to the Recital Hall microphones and is located at the Stage Manager's position.
  • The Dounda crew have been trained to use the USB/SD card recording system and can assist you with the recording process, if needed.
  • Students must provide a blank USB flash drive or SD card with a minimum storage capacity of 2 GB.
  • Important: The USB flash drive or SD card must be blank. Any existing files on the device will be erased during the recording process.
  • USB/SD Card Self-recording Instruction for the Recital Hall

Student Recitals in the Theatre or Dvorak:

  • Because self-recording equipment is not available in either the Theatre or Dvorak, all student recitals scheduled in these venues will be recorded by Doudna crew.
  • Recordings will be provided as standard stereo audio files and will be available to the performer(s) within one week of the recital.
