Multimedia Services
At 海角大神 there are a variety of multimedia services provided
to the faculty and staff. These services provide the capability to enhance the learning
experience of the students as well as create interactive media to assist in the learning
process.
Assistance is provided to EIU faculty who require media support in their online D2L
environment. Kaltura is used by EIU to provide streaming capabilities as well as lecture
capture to faculty who need to provide media to their students in a password-protected
environment. Kaltura can be used through D2L or Kaltura Media Spaces. Analog-to-digital
encoding services are also provided with delivery of the final product through Kaltura
or via DVD. |
We assist departments with closed captioning their videos, both for public viewing,
and for classrooms where there may be a student who is hearing-impaired. |
